Mes Amis Clients Covid-safe Expectations & Procedures
Following Government advice on the re-opening of Hair Salons from the 4th July, we have implemented the following measures to ensure the safety of both our staff and clients. Please do not hesitate to ask for clarity on any of these guidelines, they are in place to provide reassurance to everyone who visits Mes Amis as we return to business as usual with a new way of working.
It is your responsibility to read and adhere to the following when visiting our premises. We will expect you to be aware of the procedures before you arrive so that we can all work together. These expectations and procedures will be communicated through our social media, Booksy, and will also be displayed in the salon to remind you upon your visit. Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
Please pre-book all of your appointments using the Booksy App or by telephoning the salon (from the 4th July). We will not be accepting walk-in clients while social distancing is in place.
Please, wherever possible, attend the appointment on your own. If you are bringing your child for an appointment, you are responsible for ensuring they adhere to the salons Covid-19 expectations and procedures.
Please re-arrange your appointment if you are unwell, PLEASE DO NOT come to the salon if you are displaying any of the COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who is either being tested for the virus or has become infected.
Please arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment and preferably either wait in your car or outside the salon until your allotted appointment time. Your stylist will communicate through the Booksy App when they are ready for you to come into the salon (the App has a function specifically for this). If you can see the salon waiting area is empty you may be able to wait inside but please check with the team before you sit down.
Please ensure you have booked the correct service as we will not have time to extend appointments due to adhering to cleaning schedules between clients.
Your stylist will be starting with your consultation promptly and you can then enjoy your catch up during the appointment, this will keep the appointment punctual and ensure we do not run over timings. If you feel you will need a longer consultation please advise your stylist so that we can arrange a FaceTime consultation prior to your appointment.
Please ensure you have had a patch test prior to your booking, if you need to come in for a patch test then pop in during opening hours and wait in the Reception area, following social distancing guidelines until your stylist is ready to provide the test.
Unfortunately we cannot provide refreshments of any kind, therefore if required please bring your own water bottle or flask. We are also unable to provide magazines, so again if you require reading material please bring your own.
Your details are stored on our salon booking system and for 21 days after your booking the government has the right to request your information. This is our duty of care to support and assist the governments track and trace process.
When your stylist is showing you the colour book we kindly ask you not to touch. This is a highly used book and would cause a risk to you and others if handled by customers.
